Andrew received his Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences from Fairfield University, where he earned Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors. Since earning his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University, Andrew has worked predominantly with children and adolescents on a wide array of issues, including parent-child and sibling conflicts, school and peer difficulties, depression and self-harming behaviors. His love for working with our youth and their families is reflected in his relational and holistic approach to treatment, which draws upon an eclectic mix of stimulating therapeutic modalities. Andrew’s passion for both the clinical and academic aspects of the profession has inspired him to continue his learning and development at the University of Connecticut, where he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Andrew currently specializes in working with children and adolescents of divorce as well as young adults struggling to find confidence, meaning and balance in their lives. By virtue of his own personal experience, Andrew is well equipped to help young persons to successfully navigate the many challenges of participating in extra-curricular activities in our increasingly competitive communities. Inspired by the belief that each and every one of us exists on this Earth to fulfill a special life purpose, Andrew works tirelessly to help his clients to harness and develop their unique talents and passions while encouraging them to set and realize goals that empower them to become their highest possible self. He believes that our respective adversities may be utilized to our advantage to help strengthen our personal resiliency and adaptability to future challenges.

Andrew’s passion for healthy living has a significant influence on his work as a therapist. He believes that a healthy self requires balance in all aspects of one’s being, including not just psychological, but also physical and spiritual wellness, and he strives to manifest this balance with each and every one of his clients. Andrew has also received extensive training as an energy-healing practitioner, including being certified as a Reiki Master, which he incorporates into his daily practice. When Andrew is not working as a therapist, he spends most of his time with his fiancé, family and friends. He enjoys traveling, cooking, and engaging in all sorts of outdoor activities, from playing soccer, basketball and golf to hiking, biking and snowboarding.
